By accessing novtriq.tech, creating an account, generating an API key, subscribing to EaaS, purchasing a TDD Report, or enrolling in the Academy, you confirm that:

NOVTRIQ reserves the right to suspend accounts where there is evidence of breach, abuse, or misrepresentation.
API keys are personal and non-transferable. You must not share your API key publicly (e.g., in public repositories, client-side code, or forums).

Exceeding rate limits results in HTTP 429 responses. Systematic circumvention of rate limits is a violation of these Terms and may result in API key revocation.
EaaS subscriptions are monthly or annual, billed automatically. Prices are published on the Pricing page and may vary by region (GBP / EUR / AED).
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for mid-period cancellations except where required by law.
EaaS provides monitoring data, compliance alerts, and reporting dashboards based on data you provide and publicly available regulatory sources. EaaS outputs are decision-support tools, not regulatory certifications or engineering sign-offs.
TDD Reports are fixed-scope professional assessments delivered within the agreed timeframe (typically 5–10 business days from receipt of complete project information). Reports are provided as PDF documents.
TDD Reports are prepared for the commissioning party only. They must not be relied upon by third parties without NOVTRIQ's prior written consent. Reports reflect conditions at the time of assessment.
No refunds after report delivery. If the report contains a material factual error, contact hello@novtriq.tech within 14 days and we will issue a corrected version at no charge.
The first two (2) lessons of every Academy course are available free of charge with no account or payment required. NOVTRIQ reserves the right to adjust the number of free lessons at any time.
Full course access requires an annual subscription: £39/year per individual course, £99/year for the Pro plan (all courses in the current catalogue), or £99/seat/year for team plans. Subscriptions are billed annually via Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
The Pro plan grants access to all courses available in the NOVTRIQ Academy catalogue at the time of your subscription. Courses added to the catalogue after your subscription start date are not included in your current subscription period and may be purchased separately or accessed upon renewal at the then-current price.
Subscription prices are reviewed annually. You will be notified by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect at your renewal date. You may cancel at any time before your renewal date to avoid being charged the new price.
NOVTRIQ Academy courses are CPD-aligned — structured around recognised CPD learning objectives. NOVTRIQ does not currently hold formal CPD accreditation from CIBSE, ICE, IET, or any other professional body. NOVTRIQ does not issue CPD certificates. Learners are responsible for self-logging CPD hours with their own professional body. Formal accreditation is being pursued from Q4 2026.
Full refund if requested within 7 days of purchase provided less than 20% of course content has been accessed. No refund after 7 days or after the 20% access threshold is reached.
Partner Network membership is subject to a separate Partner Agreement provided upon application approval. Key terms:
NOVTRIQ may revoke Partner status for breach of the Partner Agreement, misrepresentation, or conduct damaging to NOVTRIQ's reputation.
Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. All amounts are subject to applicable VAT / GST based on your billing country. NOVTRIQ does not store card details. By completing a purchase, you authorise recurring charges for subscriptions until cancelled.
Refund summary: EaaS — no mid-period refund; Academy — 7 days / <20% accessed; TDD — no refund after delivery; API plans — no refund after API key activation. Consumer rights under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and EU Consumer Rights Directive may provide additional statutory rights.
All content on novtriq.tech — including tool logic, algorithms, training data, course content, report templates, brand assets, and API schema — is the intellectual property of NOVTRIQ or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Platform outputs for your own internal professional purposes.
You retain ownership of data you submit to the Platform (e.g., building specifications, grid parameters). By submitting data, you grant NOVTRIQ a limited licence to process that data solely to deliver the requested service. We do not use your submitted data to train models without explicit consent.
You must not use the Platform to:

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". NOVTRIQ does not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NOVTRIQ's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to NOVTRIQ in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100 / €120 / AED 450.
NOVTRIQ shall not be liable for: indirect, consequential, or incidental losses; lost profits; loss of data; regulatory penalties; or third-party claims, even if advised of the possibility of such losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may close your account at any time. NOVTRIQ may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or if continued access poses a security or legal risk. Upon termination, your licence to use the Platform and its outputs ceases. Data deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. EU users retain the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws in their country of residence. UAE users retain protections under UAE Federal law. Any dispute will first be referred to mediation. If unresolved within 60 days, disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to EU/UAE mandatory forum rules where applicable.
NOVTRIQ may update these Terms to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or regulatory developments. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users and by banner on novtriq.tech at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
